Enamel Workshop

Enamel is the art of fusing glass to metal.

Experiment with bold colors, cool tones, delicate fine silver and gold foils, and decorative stencils.

Working with copper stampings and fine silver wire, learn to sift colors, prepare metal surfaces, apply coats of enamel, and explore two methods of firing using both torch and kiln.  

Techniques for enamelling will be introduced including basse taille, champleve, cloisonne, sgraffito, and stenciling.
