Pave Blue Sapphire Band

Brilliant blue sapphires adorn this graceful crescent band - so called as it is shaped like a crescent moon, elliptical.

All the crescent bands are tapered so that the underside of the ring is composed of solid metal and is thinner - fitting most comfortably into the natural movements of the hand. It feels nice to wear.

The 1.5 point sapphires are pave set 3/4 of the way around, so there is a possibility to engrave initials or something small inside the band if desired.

Sapphires belong to a class of minerals called corundum; when red they are known as ruby. Long revered for mystical properties of wisdom, faithfulness, calming, healing and holiness.

I read somewhere that Sapphires are a combination of aluminum and oxygen. I will have to verify this.

With all those wonderful associations, they are a beautiful choice for everyday - or anything matrimonial (which is also everyday when it happens, usually).
