Florentine Band
The Florentine is a very classical style. Shown pictured with a prong set .25 carat stone; this ring can also be created larger carat size stones.
The band is 4 mm in width, with a florentine finish channel that provides a beautiful contrast with the high polished edges.
A Florentine finish is a term for a texture that can be applied to the surface of the metal. A special bur is used to draw the texture into the metal, and it creates a unique, almost sparkly effect.
The second ring in the image is a wedding band with 7 diamonds gypsy set (set flush with the surface of the metal) around the band.
The diamonds shown in the 7 stone ring are 3 pts. each (which are about 2 mm in diameter) giving it a total of 21 points for the ring - they are F color VS double cut stones, but this ring can be created with other stones or even colored diamonds.
The 7 stone wedding band is about 3 mm in width, and has a traditional smooth domed shape to the band.
